November 2007 - Isabella's 6th Birthday - We decided to go all out for the last of Isabella's "big bashes" for a while. Birthday parties are expensive and hectic and with 3 girls it was becoming over the top.
We made all our own invitations - courtesy of the HP Website - checkout the Glamour Princess Party Kit they have available for download.
We hired out a real castle - Sunshine Castle at Bli Bli - had it fully catered and had a Fairy Princess to organise all the fun. All I had to do was come up with an idea for the cake which of course had to be fitting for a royal princess and her princess and prince friends. This one came off pretty well. I made the crowns out of fondant and let them "set" for a few days then stuck Couchous on the points of the crown for the jewels and coloured sugar dots around the base - took an age to do 24 of them but it was worth it. I thought they looked amazing! They were then stacked on a tier.
