August 2009 - Phew the last one for this weekend and I have survived without any failures -touch wood - we still have to deliver yet. I was asked to do this one for a little girl's 1st birthday. The design requested was taken from a Donna Hay kids book. Fondant is not my favourite to work with as I have yet to learn how to smooth out the creases around corners on a square cake so I admit I was rather nervous about doing this and the cost I was going to charge. Being a perfectionist, I could not fathom charging someone a lot of money if I was not completely happy with it. Anyway - I survived, there are a couple of tiny hiccups on the corners but thankfully most were able to be disguised by the decoration. Bring on the Wilton Fondant Course I say.
